Solutions Affiliate Program Policies

Splashmetrics Solutions Affiliate Program Policies

Last Updated:

All Splashmetrics Solutions Affiliates are required to complete agreement and remain in compliance with these terms. This list contains everything you need to know to be a Splashmetrics affiliate, including resources, recommendations, and some fun legal stuff.

These policy terms supplement the Splashmetrics Solutions Affiliate Program Agreement (SSAPA) and are incorporated therein by reference. All participants must review, agree, and remain in compliance with the terms of these policies to be an Affiliate in the SSAPA.

If you’re not yet part of the SSAPA, you can apply here.

If you ever need anything else or have questions, feel free to reach out to the team at sales@splashmetrics.com

Commission

  1. Commission rate: All Solutions Affiliates must also be Marketing Affiliates – for which they will receive commissions on Qualified Transactions as outlined in the Marketing Affiliate Program Policies here: https://splashmetrics.io/marketing-affiliate-program-policies/.
  2. Solutions Affiliate Services are all optional technical and non-technical services performed or delivered by select professional Solutions Affiliates of Splashmetrics. These services can include, without limitation, RevOps implementation services, operations and sales training and education services, and content creation and development services, and other optional professional services, but excluding the SaaS Services, the Support Services, and the Other Services. Solutions Affiliate Services will be provided on a time and material basis at such times or during such periods, as may be specified in a separate Solutions Affiliate Services SOW and mutually agreed to by the parties. All Solutions Affiliate Services will be provided on a non-work for hire basis. Customer can choose to directly manage these services with the Affiliate(s) itself, or to have Splashmetrics contract and manage these services on its behalf for an additional fee.
  3. Active Engagement means that you have a fully executed written agreement with (i) either Splashmetrics directly upon its request for an existing Splashmetrics End User in its role as an Affiliate Agent, or (ii) a Splashmetrics End User whom has requested your services directly. If the latter, the agreement with the customer (i) either pre-dates the time at which the transactions for Subscription Service is closed, or is signed contemporaneously with the close of transaction, and (ii) either extends at least ninety (90) days beyond the close of the transaction for Subscription Service or has a specific and identifiable deliverable, as determined by us in our discretion.
  4. Affiliate Services SOW is the statement of work document that you will provide that outlines the optional Affiliate Solutions Services selected by Customer.
  5. Affiliate Services Commission means the amount described in the Affiliate Tool for each Affiliate Services SOW amount approved by the Customer where Splashmetrics has selected you to provide such services. It is the amount you will pay to Splashmetrics for bringing this Solutions Services work to you – just as Splashmetrics pays you the commission for the inverse through the Marketing Affiliate Program.
  6. Affiliate Agent means the role of Splashmetrics in cases where the Customer requests that Splashmetrics selects and manages the services of a Solutions Affiliate on its behalf. In this case, the Solutions Affiliate will work directly with Splashmetrics for both contracting and executing the associated services for said End user. Splashmetrics will bill the Customer directly for these Agent services.

Promoting Splashmetrics

1. Splashmetrics branding

Do: Capitalize the “S” in “Splashmetrics”. This is important to maintaining consistent branding. You must follow our vendor kit, our Trademark Usage Guidelines here, and our Content Usage Guidelines here.

Do Not: Use false or misleading statements on the benefits of using Splashmetrics (e.g. “Get rich quick with Splashmetrics”). Do not modify or adjust the Splashmetrics wordmark or sprocket logo in any sort of marketing material you might create, including the creation of any visual badges or dual-logo lockups.

2. What to call yourself

As we have multiple ways to partner with Splashmetrics and several ways to reference those relationships, here are some guidelines around what you can and cannot call yourself within the Splashmetrics Affiliate Program.

Do: Say you’re a “Splashmetrics Solutions Affiliate” or “Solutions Affiliate”.

Do Not: Refer to yourself as a Partner or that you’ve “partnered with Splashmetrics.” This includes press releases, references in videos, listings on your website, or in any other marketing material you may be using.

3. Buying ads

You will not purchase ads that direct to your site(s) or through an affiliate link that could be considered as competing with Splashmetrics’ own advertising, including, but not limited to, our branded keywords. If running ads, you need to direct the ad to your own website (and not to Splashmetrics.com or a standalone landing page).

Policies that don’t fit into the other buckets

  1. Survey participation: We would encourage you to participate in any affiliate-specific NPS surveys, industry surveys, marketing surveys, etc. as we request.
  2. Sharing placements: When requested, you’ll share the places you’ve used your affiliate link. This includes, but is not limited to, links, screenshots, and email sends.
  3. Purchasing Splashmetrics yourself: For the SolutionsAffiliate Program, we require you to purchase Splashmetrics products at the offered discount. When purchasing, we require that you do not use your own marketing affiliate link.
  4. App Partner Program: When promoting Splashmetrics for the App Partner Program, you are not allowed to use an affiliate link.
  5. Solutions Partner Program: If you’re also part of one of Splashmetrics’ other commission programs, you will only receive commission for either that program or the affiliate program depending on whether you registered the lead or the customer went through your affiliate link. When working with clients, you are not allowed to use your affiliate link.
  6. FTC disclosure: You must be FTC compliant and disclose in a clear way before the affiliate link that you will receive commission if someone clicks through and purchases.
